About NameDatePhoto

Almost everyone who has filled in an online application form has hit the same wall. The photo is rejected because it is 63 KB and the limit is 50 KB. The signature is the wrong shape. The portal gives a vague error and the deadline is tonight. NameDatePhoto started as a small fix for that exact moment.

The first tool simply printed a name and a date strip under a photo, something many exam forms ask for. More tools followed because the same few problems kept coming up: resize to a given file size, crop to the right shape, remove a background, and match the photo and signature rules of a specific exam.

The aim is simple. Open a page, drop in a picture, get a file the form will accept, and leave. No account, no waiting, no software to install.

Every tool on this site runs inside your web browser. When you choose a photo, it is opened by your own browser and processed by your own device using standard browser features such as the Canvas API. The image is not sent to our servers, and we do not keep a copy.

This design has a practical benefit. Photos and signatures are personal, and many people are uncomfortable uploading them to unknown services. Here there is nothing to upload. The background remover downloads an AI model file the first time you use it, then runs it locally, so your picture still never leaves the page.

• Keep it free. The tools are free to use. The site may show ads to cover running costs.
• Keep it simple. We would rather offer a few useful options than a screen full of settings.
• Protect quality. Resizing tools try to keep a photo as sharp as possible while reaching the requested file size.
• Work on a phone. Most people fill in forms on a mobile, so every page is built for small screens first.
• Be honest. We say plainly what a tool does and where it can fall short.

Exam bodies change photo and signature rules from time to time, sometimes between two notifications of the same exam. We prepare each exam page from the sizes commonly published in recent notices, but we cannot promise that a value is current for your form.

Always read the instructions in your own application notice and, if they differ from what a tool suggests, use the official numbers. Most pages let you change the target size and dimensions for that reason.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to SSC, SBI, IBPS, RRB, UPSC, UPSSSC, UKPSC, NSDL, Protean, UTIITSL, or any other examination body, bank or government organisation. Their names appear only to describe which kind of form a tool is meant to help with.
