How it works

Prepare your UPSSSC files in three steps

01

Choose Photo or Signature

Pick the tab for the file you need. The dimensions and the KB range switch to the UPSSSC values for you.

02

Upload and crop

Add your picture and move the crop frame, which is locked to the right shape so nothing is stretched.

03

Check, download or share

Green ticks confirm size and dimensions. Download each file, share it, or collect both into one ZIP.

Why this tool

Everything an UPSSSC application needs

πŸ“

Built for UP recruitment forms

Photo and signature sizes for the file ranges commonly asked on Uttar Pradesh recruitment portals.

πŸ“

Safe, strict limits

Defaults use the tighter ends of each range, so files pass even when a portal is stricter than expected.

βœ…

Live compliance check

Green and red chips show at once whether the size and dimensions are right.

✍️

Ink clean-up

Whiten the paper and darken the ink on a signature photographed with a phone.

πŸ“¦

Download both as ZIP

Every file you finish is collected, so one tap saves the pair.

πŸ”’

Private and free

Your pictures stay in your browser. No signup, no watermark, no limits.

Requirements

UPSSSC photo and signature requirements at a glance

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) asks candidates to upload a recent photograph and a signature when they apply online, and most candidates also complete a one-time registration first. File sizes are small, so a phone photo almost always needs resizing. The table shows the values commonly quoted for these uploads, and they are the starting values in this tool.

DocumentFile sizeDimensionsWhat it should show
Photograph20 to 50 KB413 Γ— 531 px (3.5 Γ— 4.5 cm)Recent colour photo, face clear, light background

UPSSSC publishes separate instructions for every advertisement. Please read yours, and use the Customise section whenever the numbers are different.

Exams

Which UPSSSC recruitments this tool is for

The tool follows numbers rather than exam names, so it suits any UPSSSC process that asks for a JPEG photograph and signature. That includes the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), Junior Assistant, Lekhpal, Forest Guard, Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Gram Vikas Adhikari and many other subordinate posts.

Since each advertisement can add its own details, check the notice for your post and compare the green ticks in this tool with the instructions before you upload.

Step by step

How to prepare your UPSSSC photo and signature

  1. Select Photo. Upload a clear recent portrait and centre your face in the crop frame.
  2. Check the checks. The size and dimensions chips should both turn green.
  3. Download, then choose Signature. Sign on white paper, photograph it from above and crop close to the ink.
  4. Save the pair. Use the ZIP button to keep both files together for the form.
Photograph tips

A photograph that passes the first time

Stand facing a window for soft, even light, with a plain light wall behind you. Look straight at the lens and keep your full face visible.

  • Keep it recent. It should look like you today.
  • Avoid shadows. Light from the front is better than light from above.
  • Clean up the background. Our background remover can turn a messy wall plain white.
  • Skip filters. Natural pictures are accepted far more easily.
Signature tips

Making a signature that stays readable

Use a dark pen on unlined white paper, and photograph the page from straight above in daylight so no shadow falls across the ink. Crop tightly, keep ink clean-up on, and check that the strokes still look solid after compression.

Sign the way you do on your identity documents, because the signature may be compared later during document verification.

Before you apply

Getting ready for registration

Keep your documents in one folder before you start: identity proof, educational certificates, category certificate if needed, and the photograph and signature files. Note the last date, and avoid waiting for the final days because portals slow down when many candidates apply together.

If an upload is rejected, read the message for the exact limit, change it in Customise and download a fresh file instead of guessing.

Rejections

Common reasons uploads fail

  • The file is larger or smaller than the permitted size.
  • The photograph is stretched because it was resized without cropping.
  • The picture is blurry, dark or taken against a cluttered background.
  • The signature is faint, tiny or hidden in a shadow.
  • The file is not saved as a JPEG.
Privacy and sharing

Staying private while you prepare files

Your photograph and signature are processed inside your browser, so they are never uploaded to our servers. You can download each file, gather both into a ZIP, or use Share to send an image with a link to this page. Remove shared copies from chats once you have finished.
